These terms govern the use of the JIMUA app, provided free of charge by the United Methodist Youth in Angola. In case of discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. Acceptance

By installing and using the app you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The service

The app brings together the Povo Cantai hymnal and responsive readings in Portuguese, Kimbundu, Umbundu and Kikongo, JIMUA news, a quiz, the history, the pledge, the activity calendar and the directors' wall. JIMUA may add, change or remove features.

3. Permitted use

The app is intended for personal, devotional and community use. You may not use the app for commercial purposes, attempt to access the administration area without authorisation, send reports with offensive or false content or containing third parties' personal data, or interfere with the operation of the service.

4. Content and intellectual property

The emblem, the 74 years logo, institutional texts and news belong to JIMUA. The Povo Cantai hymns and translations are reproduced [with the permission of the respective rights holders]. You may share content from the app for non-commercial purposes, citing the source. Any other reproduction requires prior written permission.

5. Reports and suggestions

By sending an error report or a suggestion, you allow JIMUA to use it to correct and improve the content, without any compensation. The decision on each correction rests with the JIMUA team.

6. Availability and liability

JIMUA aims to keep the app available and its content accurate, but does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, JIMUA is not liable for damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the app.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always available on this page and in the About section of the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Angola. The courts of Luanda have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions: [email protected].
